The Problem
The Duke Kunshan University Global Education Office’s online presence was outdated and difficult to navigate. We created a standalone, user-friendly website to improve accessibility and reflect current programs, enhancing global education outreach.
Old vs. New

Initial Meeting
During talks with the Dean of Student Affairs, Christopher Van Velzer, asked out for a redesign of the Office of Global Education. As the university expanded and tried to reach more audiences, they needed an identity that reflected this.
Backend
I began prototyping and meeting with IT and relevant departments in the university to establish a backend, and get permission from relevant bodies to establish a new subdomain for Global Education.
Design
I began building the website and designing the page templates that will help the university create more content and pages. I also established a color brand guide and logo for the office.
Launch
We decided to launch the website at the beginning of the new school year, and the response has been overwhelming, with general consensus at the university that our website now serves as a blueprint for the other departments.

"Grant has been instrumental in redefining OGE’s online presence. With almost complete creative freedom, he conceptualized, designed, and implemented a new website for the office, handling every step—from the conceptualization, design, coding and structural design to coordinating with our University IT team to create subdomains. The result was a polished, user-friendly platform that far exceeded the quality of the University’s primary site, reflecting his eye for detail and his consultative approach."
